Sound Insulation

Mansours have a range of solutions that can significantly reduce unwanted sound within a space.

Acoustic Drapes with separate linings help reduce the spread of sound waves.  They do this by absorbing sound within the air around the fibres and within the weave.  Where possible the curtains should touch at floor and ceiling and be fitted between 20mm to 50mm from a wall or window. 

Natural fibres particularly wool and cotton bumf are a good choice for acoustic curtains as they absorb and trap sound better than some man made fibres.

Acoustic Panels are another product that absorb sound.  Our range of acoustic panels have been mounted onto walls and ceilings in domestic and commercial spaces including theatres, offices, restaurants, schools, halls, classrooms, and living rooms.  Made from acoustic open cell foam upholstered onto solid boards, acoustic panels can be designed to great variety of shapes, sizes and colours.  They are a decorative and highly functional finish to any interior where sound insulation and control is important.
